One of the best ranking tour started by Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports (ACBS) is completely dominated by India’s Cue Sport sensation and 21 time world champion Pankaj Advani by winning the second title in a row. Three championship based Asian tour was played in Doha (Qatar), Jinan (China) and Bengaluru (India). Advani was the Bronze medalist in firsts one but after that he won in both, Jinan and Bengaluru. Today the last event of this Asian tour culminated and Pankaj Advani won that by defeating Ehsan Heydari Nezhad of Iran in a nail-biting final 6-4. Advani gave a good start by winning first two frames but Ehsan wasn’t interested to let it go one way and countered him with a decent break of 62. Though Pankaj took one more frame, but narrowly taken away the fifth and then the next one 51-00 to stay in title race at 3-3 Match was getting tougher and both were exchanging tough fight for each other and rested on 4-4. There Advani used his vast experience in next two frames he sent two quality breaks of 49 and 50 points to close the proceedings 6-4. Mr. Mohamed Salem Al-Nauimi, President of ACBS and Mr. Michael Al-Khoury, Secretary General of ACBS attended the Prize Distribution ceremony and gave away trophies to winner and runner-up.
