Ehsan Heydari Nezhad of Iran has now reached in the final of ACBS Asian 10Red Snooker Tour leg 3. He will now take on last leg champion and top ranked Pankaj Advani of India in the final. Ehsan knocked out Thai player Thanawat Thirapongapeboon in a closely fought semi-final 5-3. It was a tense match where Thanawat, from two frames down, returned to the game by sending two excellent breaks of 80 and 98 and took 3-2 lead. However, Ehsan countered him well with break of 92 and 53 to step ahead 4-3. In eighth frame, Ehsan took initial lead of 48 points, but a miss allowed Thanawat to get back in to the game. Unfortunately, he missed the clearance on yellow and after few exchanges of safe shots, Ehsan confirmed his berth for final. In another semi-final, Pankaj Advani outclassed current Asian Junior Champion, Aung Phyo of Myanmar 5-2. Pankaj crafted two breaks of 92 and 86 points to lead 3-0. Though Aung Phyo took two frames to cut it 4-2 but not enough to stop Advani and he won 5-2 comfortably The final will be played now at 2:30 PM India time.
