Rank-1 after two legs of Asian 10Red Snooker Tour, India’s ace cueist Pankaj Advani suffered a shocked defeat in the opening match of Asian Tour 3rd Leg here in Bengaluru. He lost 1-4 against Fung Kwok Wai of Hongkong. In front of local spectators, Bengaluru based Pankaj Advani found himself struggling after making it 1-1. The first frame was accounted for Fung Kwok and then Advani made a comeback by winning next. After that Advani missed on crucial stages, which Fung capitalized and kept his score moving in next three frames and won 4-1. Another setback for India when young player and current Indian No.2 Laxman Rawat lost in straight set of frames 0-4 current World Under-21 runner-up Pongsakorn Chongjairak of Thailand. There were chances for Laxman but he failed to convert them into frame wins and lost straight. Meanwhile another Thai boy, Thanawat Thirapongpaeboon survived after deciding frame. He was playing against Qatar player Mohsen Bukshaisha. At one stage, Mohsen was leading 3-1 but after that Thanawat shown his class by sending two breaks of 69 and 77 to come at par and then cleared deciding frame 55-0
