Laxman Rawat of India and Haris Tahir of Pakistan scored the centuries on day-2 of the Asian Snooker Championship 2021. These were the first two century breaks since the championship started, that came in the same session i.e. session 3. Laxman was playing against Omar Alajlani of Saudi Arabia where he lost the first frame and then returned with this century break of 109 to reinstate his position in the match. Although he lost the 5th frame after obtaining a lead of 3-1, but in the sixth frame, he played a very controlled game to get past Omar and won the match. In the same session, Haris Tahir of Pakistan had lost the first frame, and then returned by crafting series of breaks to defeat Hong Kong players Cheung Ka Wai 4-1. His series of breaks were of 70, 108 and 59 points in respective second, fourth and fifth frames.
