Former World Champion and much experienced Ng On Yee of Hong Kong had to use all her experience in the deciding frame to sail thru her opening match in the Manisha Asian Women Snooker Championship 2019. Ng On Yee was playing against Asian championship debutant, 11 years old Panchaya Channoi of Thailand. Though Ng On Yee did not give any loose string but a quality break of 36 points put her back and lost the frame 57-67. That was certainly an alarming situation for Ng On Yee and the she started playing cautiously which resulted in second frame where despite counter attacks, she won the frame. By that time Ng On Yee had established herself and in deciding frame she sent two quality breaks of 47 and 40 and passed through successfully the storm named Panchaya.
