India’s golden boy Pankaj Advani wins his 6th Asian Billiards title defeating his compatriot Sourav Kothari 6-3 in the final. Initially Sourav gave a good start to lead 3-1, but after interval Advani emerged completely a different player and scored back to back three breaks of 92, 102 & 81 to take lead, which later he converted into his victory clinching remaining two games. In all China final, Yuan Sijun defeated his compatriot Fan Zhengyi 6-2 to win Asian Under-21 Snooker title and earn ticket for the World Snooker Pro-Tour. Yuan played very dominating throughout the championship and had an easy walk in the final as well. This year Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports (ACBS) introduced Asian Championship for Women players and in that Hong Kong player Ng On Yee succeeded to lift the coveted 1st Asian Women Championship trophy by defeating Thai girl Waratthanun Sukritthanes 3-2. Though Warathanun fought bravely but Ng On Yee proved herself better in the last frame and won the championship. ACBS General Secretary Michael Al-Khoury of Syria and Joseph Lo, ACBS-Treasurer from Hong Kong were present at the Prize Distribution Ceremony.
