After winning straight set of games 3-0, multiple time World Champon, player from Singapore, Peter Gilchrist won Gold Medal for the English Billiards discipline in the 30th South East Asian Games. In the final he defeated current World No.2 Nay Thway Oo of Myanmar. Nay Thway started his campaign with an eye to take initial lead but missed on the break of 61 in first game. In reply Peter posted completion break of 100 points to lead 1-0. After getting that rhythm, Peter posted two more breaks of 64 and 68 to secure next two games and the GOLD medal for Singapore. ACBS General Secretary Mr. Michael Al-Khoury and President of Myanmar Federation Dr. Min Niang were present for the medal ceremony.
