Yazan Alhadad of Syria registered remarkable victory in Asian 6Red Championship 2019 by defeating former World 6Red No. 2 Chau Hon Man of Hong Kong. By this he made first entry in the quarter-finals of any Men Asian or World championship.

Yazan was focused throughout the match and played very sensible game. Starting with decent break of 43 point in first frame, Yazan kept winning alternate frames to lead 4-3 but after that he broke the sequence and won the next frame to close proceedings 5-3 and stepped in quarter finals.

Meanwhile Babar Masih of Pakistan survives against another youngster Xing Zi Hao who was leading 3-1 at one stage but Babar pulled back 3 frames in a row to obtain lead and finally won the deciding frame and the match 5-4.

Kamal Chawla also registered remarkable victory from 4-1 down to win four frames in a row to record 5-4 win over Thailand player Noppadon Sangnil.
