Siyavosh Mozayani from Iran dethrone his comptriot, the defending champion, Amir Sarkhosh and becomes Asian 6Reds Snooker Champion for the year 2022. This is his first internation title; Previously he was No.2 of Asian Junior Snooker in the year 2014 and now after the wait of 8 years, he won his first ever international title. In this championship, Siyavosh had a decent run at the group stage where he lost one match to retain second position in the group-D. At the knockouts stage, Siyavosh defeated Abdulrahman Saif of UAE crafting a classy break of 62 points and then knocked out S. Shrikrishna of India by winning straight set of frames 5-0. Today morning in Semis, he took on Lim Kok Leong of Malaysia and defeated him 5-2 to enter in the final where he met his compatriot and defending champion Amir Sarkhosh. Amir broke first and won the frame but after that Siyavosh took back to back 3 frames to lead 3-1. Amir won the fifth frame to subsidice his trail but in next Siyavosh replied to maintain to lead 4-2. In seventh and eight frame, Siyavosh had couple of unforced errors which were brilliantly captured by Amir to level the match, which was at one stage leaning completely towards Siyavosh. The deciding frame was crucial for both but here Siyavosh shown the nerves of steel to play safe initially and then exhibited excellent potting to win 5-4.
