Former Asian Billiards Champion, Sourav Kothari of India won both of his round-robin matches one-sided and obtained top-seed position for the Asian Billiards knockout stage. He is now placed to play his quarter final match against Myanmar player Chit Ko Ko, who finishes his group as No.2 defeating Indian player B. Bhaskar. Another Indian player and current India No.2 Dhvaj Haria managed to grab 2nd seed slot and will play his first match against former World Champion and Asian Games gold medalist Praput Chaithanasukan. India’s ace cueist and 21-time world champion Pankaj Advani finishes a group No.2 and is now placed to play against India’s national champion S. Shrikrishna. The last quarter final match will be played between twice Asian Champion Dhruv Sitwala of India and current World No.2 Nay Thway Oo of Myanmar Three matches will start tomorrow at 1:00 PM whereas one match will be played at 4:00 PM
